 Dear Friends, In the first place I should like to express my gratitude for sharing part of this short history that began in Fornells in the summer of 1981.

Since that time my parents have run the “Es Port” restaurant in Fornells, a place that specialises in local gastronomy. The sea forms part of our essence and spirit, our roots go back to 1876, with the art of fishing and nowadays we prepare our food in a traditional way from the lobster and fish caught locally every day.

When I finished university I began to work in “Es Port”. Thanks to the diversity of the inheritance I have received I have understood the importance of offering the very best service to our customers, to transmit to them the guarantee and certainty of the local origin of our product and to make them feel at home and take away the best possible memories of the Menorcan taste and aroma.

My passion is to offer a quality product that expresses the bounty of nature without falling into the trap of using materials that are not top quality, often a sign of mass production and industrial processes. We have obtained a license from the Control Board of Jijona and Alicante to make turrón (sometimes called Spanish nougat) with the finest Pestañeta Almonds, toasted in the best way possible in a wood oven.

It is with this illusion that we invite you to know and form a part of our little piece of history; our objective is to give our customers complete transparency, even more than well known brands and those of Designation of Origin. Our selection of products and Turróns are elaborated with the finest quality ingredients in a completely natural way.
